Cole Sprouse confirms breakup with Lili Reinhart

"Riverdale" stars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have broken up, after nearly three years of being together.

Sprouse revealed on Instagram that he and Reinhart initially split up in January and decided to "permanently" go their separate ways in March.

“What an incredible experience I had, I’ll always feel lucky and cherish that I had the chance to fall in love,” Sprouse said about his relationship with Reinhart.

Sprouse added he wished Reinhart “nothing but the utmost love and happiness moving forward."

He also promoted Reinhart’s new movie, “Chemical Hearts.”

“I’m sure she’s just as incredible in it as everything else she does,” he said.

The reel-to-real couple has been surrounded by breakup rumors since last year.

In May 2020, the two got caught up anew in breakup rumors which were neither confirmed nor denied by the two actors.
