031320370z2 Nissan continues to inject adrenaline into the automotive scene with the arrival of its second sports car offering in the Philippines, the 370Z. Hailed as the sibling sports car of the GT-R, the Nissan 370Z offers performance in a more compact package and design that invokes its heritage as a Z car. 031320370Z1 The Nissan 370Z is powered by the award winning VQ37 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine that makes 332-Ps and 363-Nm of torque. This is paired with the world’s first SynchroRev matching system for the six-speed manual transmission, or a seven-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching feature. Further enhancing the performance are the sport-tuned shock absorbers, Nissan Sport Brakes, a limited slip differential, and a carbon fiber composite driveshaft. Serving as the grand descendant of the iconic Nissan 240Z, the 370Z remains true to its performance heritage with a sleek, low roofline for better aerodynamics. It sports a low center of gravity, and a short wheelbase for quicker response and better handling. The 370Z carries a distinct bumper design with Bi-Xenon HID projector headlamps, and LED daytime running lamps. Rounding out the vehicle’s sporty appearance are 19-inch forged alloy wheels by Rays, dual exhaust outlets, and a sleek rear spoiler. 031320370Z4 The interior is appropriately sport inclined in its execution. Inside, it features a driver-focused cockpit with a three-spoke steering wheel, Magnesium paddle shifters, a triple meter instrument cluster configuration, four-way power adjustable sport seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, push start and stop button, and sports pedals. 031320370z3 For enthusiasts that refuse to compromise performance, there is the more exclusive and competition-focused 370Z Nismo. The Nissan 370Z Nismo features motorsport-inspired exterior and interior elements. Exclusive to this model are Nismo design front and rear bumpers, side sills, rear spoiler and door mirrors for a more aggressive and aerodynamic look, while enhancing front and rear downforce. The set is complemented by Nismo exclusive 19-inch forged alloy wheels by Rays with a twin-five spoke design and a charcoal gray machine-finish. The interior also features Nismo-styled elements including Recaro sport seats, a steering wheel wrapped in leather and Alcantara, a Nismo red tachometer, and Nismo badging all around the car. It’s not simply aesthetics as the 370Z Nismo’s power is also enhanced with an exclusive Nismo dual exhaust system, giving the 3.7-liter V6 engine higher output. Power is rated at 344-Ps and 371-Nm of torque. This is solely paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission with Black Magnesium Paddle Shifters. The Nissan 370Z Nismo also features a Nismo-branded strut tower brace for enhanced body rigidity and performance dampers for better handling. “Nissan has a proven heritage of producing some of the most iconic sports cars in the world, and we’re very excited to celebrate this legacy with the Nissan 370Z. The Nissan 370Z has brought great innovation to the sports car segment, showcasing the perfect combination of practicality and performance,” said Atsushi Najima, Nissan in the Philippines President and Managing Director. “We are very happy to turn the ‘sports car dream’ into a reality for Filipinos everywhere this April, as we introduce the Nissan 370Z into the market. We are looking forward to sharing this with Filipinos craving for a new and thrilling driving experience,” The Nissan 370Z Premium will be available in both a six-speed manual transmission and seven-speed automatic transmission, priced at PhP2,779,000.00 and PhP2,879,000.00, respectively, in select dealerships nationwide. The Nissan 370Z Nismo, priced at PhP3,888,000, is exclusively available at the Nissan High Performance Center in Quezon Avenue.
