Organizers of the National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) Philippines 2023 have announced the students who made the cut and will compete in the final round in April.
The NOI contest will choose the students who will represent the Philippines at the 35th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2023), which will be held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 4 in Szeged, Hungary.

The finalists were announced on March 6 based on the national eliminations held last month. According to the organizers, 277 students from 46 different schools in the country participated in the 222-hour online competition. The final round will be held on April 15 and 16 at the Ateneo de Manila University. At the 34th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia in August last year, the Philippines bagged two bronze medals and one honorable mention Winning the country’s two bronze medals were Raphael Dylan Dalida and Frederick Ivan Tan, students of the Philippine Science High School-Main Campus. Garnering an honorable mention at the 34th IOI was Cassidy Kyler Tan, a student of Ateneo de Manila Senior High School.
