FASHION PULIS: Friendzoned boy

Published Nov 11, 2023 03:00 am

Has Versatile Talent (VT) set his eyes on Good-looking Girl (GG) and about to break Another Heart (AH)?

Whenever VP professes a forever to someone and the public has accepted his relationship, something suddenly changes. This change results in surprise and predictable bashing from netizens.

Over the years, VT and AH have built their relationship and weathered the extraordinary trials that came after their admission. While VO’s career has zoomed, AH took the backseat with no projects that are being talked about. A new issue noticed by watchers might suddenly propel AH into the limelight again into a ‘role’ that can be considered opposite of where she was a few years ago.

VT allegedly might have fallen for GG to the point of doing subtle moves that have not escaped social media warriors. VT has even expressed his interest to work with GG in future projects to influential people. However, the management is not warm on pairing VT and GG, which they view as lacking potential.

The two have developed closeness because they move within the same professional circle. The extra care and attention VT is showing towards GG has not escaped her. VT has not really verbalized his intentions because he is still committed to AH. However, even if VT gets his freedom, GG’s interest is only on cam and work. According to a source, GG has admitted having no romantic inclination towards VT and only considers him as a good friend. GG has friendzoned VT before anything off cam happens and affects the momentum of her career.

Image Fixer

When online social media was not yet in existence, the publicity of celebrities, including answers to issues, was controlled by a public relations team.

Showbiz reporters had field days of writing about celebrities as a way to popularize a project of celebrities. Meanwhile, celebrities were often briefed as to what they ought to answer when asked uncomfortable questions.

These days, when online activities have taken over lives, several personalities have dropped having a PR team to control their publicity. They have opted to go hands-on to connect with the public. Unfortunately, the public is not always nice and instead of understanding, celebrities are gifted with bashing by their followers.

Now, how true is it that Powerful Insider (PI) saw the need to talk to Talkative Talent (TT) to call attention to the negativity that her posts generated?

PI is respected by TT, and when he talks, she has to listen. TT was allegedly reminded of how much damage control was needed to fix the image of celebrities who took to social media to air their gripes and spent time answering each comment with fiery words.

Meanwhile, recent developments in fixing TT’s image have generated positivity. Help from the Other Party (OP) was needed to divert the negativity TT was receiving. The reaction of OP still raised eyebrows as kibitzers questioned that OP had nothing to gain, whereas TT gained a sudden rise in approval. OP was chill and saw nothing wrong in giving way to TT.  After all, OP has already passed her negative days and is now a beacon of positivity.
