Soldier's family recovers from COVID-19

DAVAO CITY - The three members of the family of a soldier, who all tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Mati City, Davao Oriental, have recovered. 

Based on the profiles of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Davao region released on Monday, the three were among the 27 recoveries recorded on August 24. 

The three included a 66-year-old female, a 17-year-old female, and a nine-year-old boy. 

The city government of Mati also confirmed this with the recovery of the patients identified as MC-34, MC-35, and MC-36. 

It can be recalled that the three tested positive last August 8. Prior to getting tested, the family stayed at a local resort overnight.

On August 18, the city government of Mati said the two resort staff, who had close contacts with the family members, tested negative in their RT-PCR(reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) test. Another person, who the family had close contact with in a grocery store, also tested negative.
