LUCENA – Quezon Provincial Police Office (QPPO) Director Colonel Audie Madrideo gave a briefing to media on recent law enforcement operations in the province, Friday, in Camp Nakar here.
(MANILA BULLETIN)
Madrideo said that Quezon PPO has confiscated almost 800 grams of shabu with estimated street value of P2.5 million in a three-day anti-illegal drugs operation.
Madrideo added that shabu distributed in Quezon came from nearby provinces and were only being transported to the province in small volumes.
He stressed that police operatives unearthed illegal drugs transactions being made online. The latest was the apprehension of some 500 grams of dried marijuana from a suspect.
Madrideo reiterated the “no take police” of PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa on all forms of illegal gambling, including bookies and banning any form of gambling while during wake.
He also reminded the municipal officials who, as of this time, have not yet declared the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP/NPA/NDF) as persona-non-grata through the passage of municipal resolutions. These towns include Lopez, San Antonio, San Andres, and Sampaloc in Quezon, Madrideo added.
