CNBLUE's Jungshin to enlist in the military

K-pop rock band CNBLUE member Jungshin, 26, will enlist in the Korean military at the end of the month.

FNC Entertainment announced that CNBLUE’s bassist will enter the military camp on July 31 but did not disclose the time and location.
“He will not unveil the exact location and time to fulfill his military duty silently,” the agency said, according to Yonhap News.
After his basic military training, he will serve as an active duty soldier. Military service is a mandatory duty for all able-bodied Korean men and they serve up to two years.
Jungshin is the second member of CNBLUE to enlist. In March, frontman Yonghwa entered the military. Other members of the band are Kang Minhyuk and Lee Jonghyun.
Debuting in CNBLUE in 2010, Jungshin has also ventured into acting. His drama projects include “Seoyoung, My Daughter,” “The Blade and Petal,” “Temptation,” “Cinderella with Four Knights,” “My Sassy Girl” and this year’s “My First Love.”
Jungshin is expected to be discharged from the military on April 30, 2020.
