Philippine Rise Commemoration stakeholders to be honored

By Francis Wakefield A Joint Divers and Media Night will be hosted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines-Northern Luzon Command (NoLCom) at the Lakambini Hall, AFP Officers Club in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, on Friday.

Emmanuel Salamat, was the one who conceptualized the fellowship event to express his appreciation and gratitude to all the key contributors of the Philippine Rise Commemoration 2018, particularly the Scuba Divers and Media teams who made the historic event a success. Nato said the activity will start at 6 p.m. "The event shall highlight the patriotic contribution of the Divers Group for the all the hardships and risks they encountered from planning, rehearsals and final execution in the high seas," Nato said. "In the same manner, Lt. Gen. Salamat would like to thank friends from Media entities, our partners in bringing information to a greater audience, the Filipino people," he added. AFP Chief of Staff General Carlito C. Galvez will be the Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHAS) to render his message and grace the event. Expected to attend is Rep. Jericho Jonas B. Nograles, who is a staunch advocate and supporter of Awareness and Advocacy Efforts in our maritime areas. "The teamwork among all participants was key to achieving our common patriotic objectives in the Philippine Rise," Salamat said. Together with valued partners, NoLCom will continue to do its mandate and keep a well-informed public," he added.
