Isabela PPO nets 105 in anti-crime operations

By Liezle Basa Inigo CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela --- The Isabela provincial police arrested 105 individuals, including 33 Social Amelioration Program (SAP) and one 4Ps beneficiaries for violation of PD 1602 which prescribes stiffer penalties on illegal gambling. This was reported Thursday in the office of the new Isabela Provincial Director, Col. James Cipriano. Police Regional Director Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro immediately directed Cipriano to strengthen a Synchronized Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) that led to the arrest of 105 individuals for illegal gambling from: Cauayan CPS (3), San Mariano PS (3), Angadanan PS (3), Alicia PS (17), Gamu PS (6), Aurora PS (6), Echague PS- (28), Delfin Albano PS (8), Naguilian PS (2), San Isidro PS (9), San Guillermo PS (7), Benito Soliven PS (5), Ilagan CPS (4), Luna PS (4). Investigation showed that 33 of them are SAP and 4Ps beneficiaries. In the campaign against illegal drugs (RA 9165), six operations were conducted by the different police stations of Isabela which led to the arrest of the following:  Roel Jacinto, Angelo Gonzalez, Bryan Cayetano, Vincent Lazaro, Bienvenido Austria, Angelo Salcedo, Michael Velasco, and Jerome Artizuela.
