Winners In Sinebata 2012 Awarded
RIZAL – The rescue team from the Rizal Police Provincial Office (RPPO) outclassed their counterparts from other provinces from Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) Region during a recent competition of their skills coinciding with the observance of Police Community Relations Month. This came as the Rizal PPO Search and Rescue Team was adjudged the winner in the competition held at Calabarzon Police Headquarters in Calamba, Laguna, beating four rescue teams from Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon provinces. Senior Supt. Rolando Anduyan, acting Rizal PPO director, congratulated the Rizal PPO team during the awarding ceremony. (Nel B. Andrade)

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – The Quezon Medalya ng Karangalan (QMK) Lupon ng Gawad Parangal will be conferred on 11 awardees on August 17 at Quezon Convention Center, coinciding with the 134th birthdate of President Manuel L. Quezon. Lawyer Vicente Joyas, head of selection committee forwarded the lists of awardees to the Provincial Board for confirmation as required by Provincial Board Resolution No. 612. Among the awardees are Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Jessie D. Dellosa and Brig. Gen. Nestor A. Añonuevo, both for military service; Maria Rhodora Perpetua Isabedra Palomar Fresnedi and Agriculture Undersecretary Antonio A. Fleta, both for Business Corporate; and Judge Rodolfo D. NOVELETA, Cavite – Search and rescue operations for a missing woman were conducted yesterday in this coastal town, police said. One Reggie Thea Enriquez has been missing since her body was carried by strong river current under a bridge at Barangay San Juan at 12:45 midnight Tuesday. Enriquez, 22, is a resident of Amparo Subdivision, Barangay Bayan Luma, Imus, City, Cavite. The Noveleta Municipal Police Station reported that Enriquez jumped from the bridge and her body was carried by the current to nearby Barangay Sta. Isabel in Kawit town. (Anthony Giron)

TUGUEGARAO CITY – Police are presently conducting massive manhunt operations for a man, who hacked and killed a guest relations officer (GRO) and her nephew in Golden Crown compound, District 1, Cauayan City last Monday. Police identified the victims as Cristina Lapuz, 20, a GRO; and her nephew identified as Rainier Lapuz, 3. It was reported that Cristina sustained hacked wounds in the neck and chest while Reiner was allegedly strangled. Police identified the suspect as one Hernando Oslob, a resident from Alfonso-Lista, Ifugao. (Freddie G. Lazaro)

CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan – After the Bataan PNP Office launched public speaking engagements successfully, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has also launched its Toastmasters Club Division which is also known as Philippine National Police (PNP) Speech Club that will further enhance police’s skills and confidence in public speaking. Right after assuming the provincial directorship here, Senior Supt. Ricardo Zapata, Bataan police director, directed his staff and chiefs of police (COPs) to go to local radio stations where they can be trained on public speaking to enhance their skills in impromptu interviews and speak live before the public fluently.
