DOT encourages MSME's to join free Google workshop

The Department of Tourism (DOT) is encouraging small business owners to join the free caravan workshop organized by Google intended for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines to grow their business presence online.

The workshop will explain how to create and verify a local business listing using Google My Business.

Owners will be able to manage their business on how it appears across Google Search and Google Maps, and help potential customers engage in the business.

“This free workshop was made specifically for small businesses in the Philippines and will include a special section on how to use Google tools to navigate the difficulties businesses are facing due to COVID-19 and social distancing,” Google said.

The workshop runs every Tuesday at 11a.m. And Thursday at 2p.m.
