H.R.M.P. CONGRESS

ROXAS CITY, Capiz (PIA6) — Some 300 Human Resource Management Practitioners (HRMP) gathered in this city yesterday to attend the two-day 3rd HRMP Congress. Civil Service Commission (CSC) Capiz director lawyer Maria Lina P. Gonzaga said, “Vital programs of the Commission will be discussed by CSC Chair Dr. Francisco T. Duque III who will grace the assembly themed “Leaping Towards Empowered HRMPs.” The congress aims to strengthen partnerships and linkages of the (CSC) and other government branches and instrumentalities through empowered, enabled, and revitalized HRMPs.

AGRICULTURE REGISTRY

SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA) — The National Statistics Office (NSO) is preparing for the implementation of Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) which is a nationwide undertaking to list and gather information about farmers, farm laborers, and fishermen, their household, farm and farming and/or fishing activities, provincial statistics officer Jesus Escote Jr. said. The Department of Budget and Management will fund the undertaking and will be the custodian of the RSBSA database system which will address the need for a comprehensive and systematic information system about the basic sector in agriculture.
