Fire hits supermarket in Davao City

By Armando Fenequito Jr. DAVAO CITY - A fire broke out inside a supermarket in Barangay Cabantian early morning of Saturday, June 6. The Davao City Fire District report bared that the incident happened at NCCC Cabntian about 7:30 a.m. It stated that the Cabantian Fire Station got the report around 7:38 a.m., and immediately responded to the incident. Report said the fire incident only reached the first alarm before being placed under control. The Cabantian Fire Station declared fire out around 7:44 a.m. with no death or injury. Fire officials said the possible cause of the fire was electrical problem, while the cost of damage was still being determined by authorities.
