A Piper Aztec type of aircraft made a forced landing by the shoreline around 11:30a.m. today
The plane, with registry number RP-C5818 operated by Helitrend with route from Sangley to San Vicente, Palawan encountered left-engine failure while 150 feet airborne from San Vicente Airport.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) operations and rescue center received information from the aircraft’s pilot Capt. Muniandy Harihalan that he and one unidentified passenger are now safe.
Rescue and accident investigators were immediately dispatched to the site to determine the cause of the accident, with the two passengers given immediate medical attention.
