Gatchalian gave the assurance Saturday morning as some medical personnel were having difficulties passing through various city borders due to the enhanced community quarantine.
"Im sure 100 percent because I'm on the ground together with my chief of police and we've been briefing our people to allow the exemptions to go in," he said.
The mayor also said that they are coordinating with the city hospitals to provide the list of their health workers so the local government can provide them with certificates. With these, Gatchalian said they could roam around the city freely.
“Our chief of police has assured me that they will follow ,” he added.
Gatchalian urged his constituents to stay at home and follow the government’s orders. “Nobody would be inconvenienced if they just simply follow the guidelines."
