4.1-magnitude quake hits Aroroy, Masbate

By MB Online A magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Aroroy, Masbate at 9:05 p.m Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. (Phivolcs) (Phivolcs) The earthquake was tectonic in origin and its epicenter traced 18 kilometers northwest of Aroroy, Masbate with a depth of 10 kilometers. Instrumental Intensity II was felt in Masbate City. No damage and aftershocks are expected.
