Pets to model on the catwalk for Earth Hour

TAYTAY, Rizal — Dogs and cats alike wearing colorful costumes will take centerstage as some of these lovable pets take to the catwalk at SM City Taytay tonight in celebration of Earth Hour.

Canines and felines in their most beautiful and eco-friendly attire, will literally be on the catwalk to showcase their pro-environment-designed clothes in a fashion show for dogs and cats happening at the Pet Park of the mall starting 6 p.m.

Dogs and cat owners are encouraged to dress their pets in their most eco-friendly costume as their way of paying tribute to Mother Earth in line with the celebration of the SM Supermall’s Earth Hour, which will simultaneously start at around 8 o’clock tonight.

Registration for the unique event for dogs and cats is free for pet owners including members of SM Pet Club.

In Antipolo City, a separate observance of Earth Hour will also happen at starting at 8:00 tonight simultaneous at SM City Masinag and SM Cherry Antipolo with the official switch-off ceremony following a short program.

In Angono, the observance of the Earth Hour will happen at SM Center Angono with local officials, pro-environment advocates and mall officials giving a short message on the relevance of the occasion.

Lights in selected areas of the mall will be switched off for an hour as part of SM Supermall’s commitment in the pro-Earth advocacy of the country and the rest of the world.
