Award-winning Lovi Poe is one of the busiest actresses in the country today. This year, projects have been coming to her one after the other. And perhaps to wind up for her this year is “Yesterday’s Bride” where she plays the lead role as Andrea Manalo.

On her way to her wedding with Justin Ramirez (Rocco Nacino), an accident strikes which renders her into a coma. Andrea is found pregnant. The more that Justin shows his care, love and attention for her.

Andrea is confined in the hospital for quite a time, and the twist of fate comes to a worse when fire breaks out in the hospital. Miraculously, Andrea wakes up and finds herself in one big house not knowing who the owner is, and even forgetting her name.

The owner of the house, Dr. Celso Agustin (Luis Alandy) who takes care of her, even giving her a name, Loraine.

It’s the second time that Lovi, Rocco and Luis work together in one movie. The first was in “Mistaken Identity.”

“I am very comfortable working with him!” Lovi said.

Of his kissing scenes with Lovi, Rocco said that he and Lovi talk about it first before the take. “It would put us in the proper mood, setting aside nervousness and we would execute the scenes as if we are true lovers!”

“I always prepare for the kissing scenes,” Lovi added.

“Tunay Na Mahal,” the theme song of “Yesterday’s Bride” is interpreted by Jaya.

“Yesterday’s Bride” begins airing on Oct. 29 right after “Eat Bulaga” on GMA Afternoon Prime.
