All the right moves

At the moment, things seem to be in the right place for Young Celebrity (YC) and Reliable Partner (RP). They form a dependable hit tandem that could do no wrong either in the movies or on TV shows.

But things weren’t always as smooth for them. When YC was starting out, he was quite the ladies’ man, not unlike his Best Buddy (BB).

It was BB who first spotted RP, who didn’t hide the fact she was also attracted to BB. Unfortunately for both, their network didn’t like the idea of them together.

RP was then paired off with Unlucky Partner (UP) whose career quickly spiralled to nowhere following a snag. Enter YC and the gamble paid off big time.

Not that RP totally forgot BB, particularly as YC seemed bent on continuing with his ardent pursuit of women.

RP was happy when she learned BB is in one of her projects. This is where the trysts began, with RP disappearing with BB to who knows where. YC didn’t mind, though, as he was seeing other girls too.

There came a time, however, when the network insisted on the YC and RP partnership to level up. YC agreed but he wanted RP without BB in the picture. He went on to advise BB to shift his attention to Pretty Newcomer (PN) instead.

Eager to make something out of his moribund career, BB obeyed YC, and a good thing too as he and PN hit it off right away. This resulted to a win-win situation for everyone involved, particularly, YC and RP. Yay.

Stuck in a moment

Underrated Talent (UT) has realized she was slowly being eased out by her network despite her loyalty.

There was a time when she, along with Other Celebrity (OC), was being groomed as the network’s next big stars. It was UT who showedgreater potential as actress but the network thought it best to cast her in more mature roles, alienating her young fans. In contrast, OC was given projects that young fans could relate to.

After UT decided to lay low for a while and go back to school, she returned to a changed showbiz landscape, with the network already busy building the careers of other talents.

Adding to her discomfort was the network’s lackadaisical effort to support her during a major social event. While other female talents of the network were assigned big names in fashion, UT had none whatsoever.

Feeling uneasy with the way she was being treated, UT confided her dilemma to Secret Boyfriend (SB), who advised her to simply jump ship.It would benefit both of them, he said, as they could then reveal the real score between them.

Will she or won’t she? UT’s decision will be known soon.
