Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. unveiled the company’s new line-up of premium lifestyle soundbar products – the NW700 Sound+ and the Soundbar N650 – at the 2018 Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania Forum in Rome, Italy. The wall-mountable NW700 Sound+ soundbar succeeds the award-winning MS650 Sound+ model and incorporates sound-enhancing features, such as distortion-cancelling, wide-range tweeters and multi-speaker control, while the Soundbar N650 features the patented “Samsung Acoustic Beam” technology to deliver a panoramic sound experience.

 Slim & Seamless design, wall-mountable NW700 Sound+ soundbar

The NW700 Sound+ soundbar features a slim and sleek external design optimised for wall mounting underneath Samsung’s super-thin televisions. The 53.5mm-width soundbar, which seamlessly works with a wall-mount TV, is 41% narrower than the previous soundbar model, allowing users to achieve a harmonious interior. The monolithic soundbar adopts three channels and includes sound technology to deliver dynamic and targeted sound for an immersive listening experience. The body of the soundbar also has a built-in subwoofer, contributing to a clean, slender design for the home entertainment space.

The technology found in the NW700 Sound+ and its previous iterations has been routinely praised for helping the soundbars achieve powerful bass, cohesive soundstage and impressive clarity. The multi-speaker control technology has also been recognized for effectively syncing the drivers in the soundbar to produce a clear and powerful sound. Additionally, the distortion cancelling technology works by predicting distortion at the end of the speaker movement and making the necessary adjustments before the distortion is heard. This results in smooth, distortion-free bass tones.

As one of Samsung’s newest lifestyle products, the NW700 Sound+ soundbar is well-suited to be seamlessly integrated into most home décor and home theatre system.

Panoramic sound experience for movie lovers and gamers

Featuring the patented “Samsung Acoustic Beam” technology, the Soundbar N650 is designed specifically to provide a virtual surround sound effect. With dynamic sound rendering, users can enjoy a panoramic sound experience. The technology makes use of two pipes at the back of the soundbar, each with one tweeter at the end. Sound flows through the pipe and is distributed to each hole, thereby making each hole act as an individual speaker and creating the overall surrounding effects.

In addition to delivering quality sound for movie lovers, the Soundbar N650 includes “Game Mode”, allowing gamers to immerse themselves in the scene with a dedicated setting with optimised sounds specifically for gaming. The Soundbar N650 automatically converts to Game EQ when the gaming device is connected to the Samsung TV.

The Soundbar N650 also includes seamless connectivity with Bluetooth for easy music streaming, as well as easy, intuitive wired and wireless connection to Samsung TVs. It supports One Remote Control so users can also easily control the Soundbar N650 with their Samsung TV remote.
