CHRISTMAS GIFT
ILOILO CITY, Iloilo — The Western Visayas Philippine National Police (PNP) is setting aside a percentage of its Christmas party budget this year to help typhoon Pablo survivors in Mindanao. “The essence of Christmas is helping and giving. Even if it’s a small amount, let’s give hope to those who are in need,” said Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., director of Police Regional Office (PRO-6) who directed PRO-7 personnel and PNP units in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental provinces to tone down on their respective Christmas party. CEBU CLASSROOMS
ASTURIAS, Cebu — Under its School Rehabilitation Program (SRP), the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI)) has again turned over 15 classrooms to four public elementary schools in this town. Also, school buildings of the Asturias Central School, Agbanga Elementary School, Agtugop Elementary School, and Tag-amakan Elementary School were repaired, benefiting over 700 pupils. RAFI shouldered the material cost of the said undertaking while the local government units shouldered the labor cost. (Phoebe Indino)
