Back from a self-imposed sabbatical is actor-TV host and former Optical Media Board chairman Edu Manzano who is now seen every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on TV5’s “Good Morning Club,” sharing his insights and trademark humor with the other hosts: Christine Bersola-Babao, Chiqui Roa-Puno, and Amy Perez, along with Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim, Grace Lee, Joseph Ubalde, Makata and Shalala.

While the “kumares” tackle issues that married couples commonly face at home and in other aspects of their relationships, Edu has his own segment titled “Edu-Kado” in which he addresses “pressing social issues.” The discussion allows the viewers to assess various situations by hearing different perspectives. Edu’s straightforward views and the “kumares’” practical advice give “GMC” regulars the information and insight needed so that each day is lived to the fullest. Known to be a wide reader and very opinionated, Edu’s segment will certainly enrich viewers’ opinions on pressing issues. With over 10 years of experience in hosting morning shows, Edu underscores the importance of programs like “Good Morning Club.”

He said, “Morning shows are very important because that’s how to start your day. Mula sa mga nanay na naghahanda ng pagkain at binibihisan ang anak nila, hanggang sa mga taong papasok sa opisina na gustong malaman ang lagay ng trapik – lahat ng mga bagay na ito are very important to our lives. ‘GMC’ would like to be able to put together all the info you need to know because there’s nothing more powerful than information.”
