Jojo Binay expected to fix Abby-Junjun tiff in Makati

(KJ ROSALES / MANILA BULLETIN) This was revealed on Thursday by Senator Nancy Binay, president of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) political party that propelled the former vice president’s bid for the presidency in 2016. Recently, the Binay vs. Binay scenario in Makati surfaced when Abigail expressed her intention to seek reelection even as her brother, Junjun, has long been set on his plan to return as mayor of the city through next year’s polls. “ag uusap-usap pa lang kami, hinihintay pa namin ’yung pagdating ng aming father this weekend. Binay. It was learned from Joey Salgado, spokesman of the former vice president, that he is on a pilgrimage tour in Italy. Meanwhile, Sen. Binay seemed not alarmed over the brewing political rivalry within her family. “’Di ba normal lang naman din sa isang pamilya yung may mga ganitong pinagdadaanan? So, kumbaga, like a normal a family (Isn’t it normal for a family to undergo something like this),” she said in putting her siblings’ rivalry in context.
