Sen. Aquino upbeat over Honasan's appointment as DICT head

By Mario Casayuran Opposition Senator Paolo Benigno Aquino IV said yesterday he was looking forward to working with Senator Gregorio B. Honasan II to strengthen the information communications and technology (ICT) sector in the Philippines and improve access to quality and affordable internet services for more Filipinos.

Aquino issued the statement after Honasan accepted the offer of President Duterte to join his Cabinet by heading the Department of Information Communications and Technologu (DICT). ‘’We’ll miss Sen. Honasan in the Senate. We wish him the best in his new position as DICT Secretary,’’ he said.
