A lone bettor won the staggering P71 million jackpot prize of Lotto 6/42 during a draw on Tuesday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

The PCSO said the lucky bettor, who placed his/her bet at a lotto outlet in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, became its latest millionaire after picking all of the winning combination.
During Tuesday night’s draw, the winning combination of Lotto 6/42 was 26-23-12-01-34-17 and it had a total jackpot prize of P71,768,302.
A 20 percent tax will be deducted from the total jackpot prize because of the TRAIN Law.
The winner must go to the PCSO’s main office along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, and present two valid IDs to claim the prize. The bettor should also bring his/her winning tickets.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
Meanwhile, the PCSO said a bettor came close to winning the P57-million prize of Ultra Lotto 6/58 after hitting five of the six winning combination
The lottery game had a total jackpot prize of P57,051,128.80 with a winning combination of 39-46-55-02-52-44.
But the PCSO noted that the bettor will still receive a consolation prize of P280,000.
PCSO General Manager Royina Garma has urged the public to keep on patronizing the lotto games of the charity agency as most of its revenue will be used for the PCSO’s charity programs.
