BACOLOD CITY - A misunderstanding between two tourist van drivers turned bloody when one of them was killed during a commotion at a terminal along Lopez Jaena Street, Barangay 31 here on Saturday.

Slain was Raul Janagat of Tres Puentes, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Capt. Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 6, said that Janagat, who was unarmed, was allegedly attacked by Welbert Locsin, 29, of Barangay San Jose, E.B. Magalona town.
Bonilla said that the suspect confronted the victim about the threat he got from him via text message.
Locsin even had Janagat’s threat placed in the blotter at the police station, Bonilla noted.
However, when they met at the terminal, a heated argument ensued between them which led to a commotion, Bonilla said.
Bonilla said that Locsin allegedly stabbed the victim more than 10 times using a fan knife, which caused his immediate death.
Locsin was arrested, and is now under police custody for the filing of charges, the station commander added.
