Despite being a new player in distributing apps to mobile users, Huawei is working on bringing more apps to their AppGallery. As of the publication of this article, the AppGallery already contains familiar apps such as:
Viber, TikTok, GCash, BDO, PayMaya, Eatigo, Beauty MNL, Robinsons Rewards, OWTO, Lazada, Asphalt 9, just to name a few.
To set itself apart from the competition, the Huawei introduces the App Gallery Rewards. Here users can get HUAWEI points, app vouchers, gift packs and VIP services from the AppGallery’s Gift Center.
Now, Huawei welcomes two new apps for the AppGallery.
Unionbank representative, AJ D.Atienza, Assistant Vice President, Customer Experience Designer and Customer Experience Group, said, “We are excited to have the UnionBank Online app in the Huawei AppGallery. This way, we will expand our reach to many more Filipinos. While they enjoy the features and experience of the app, we are confident that Huawei’s implementation of strict security will give our users the peace of mind they truly deserve when banking online.”
To add to the list of apps found in the AppGallery, the Philippines’ state-owned Social Security System’s mobile app is also within Huawei users’ reach. The SSS mobile app is made available for members to check their SSS information including contribution status, Employees Compensation Medical status, location of SSS branch offices, and documentary requirements for SSS membership, etc.
Mario Sibucao, Vice President, Member Electronic Services Department explained how the SSS mobile app gives members a convenient way of staying updated of their government contributions. "The version release of the SSS Mobile App in Huawei AppGallery provides a secured platform for our members in the Philippines and those residing abroad to connect with SSS." (Edgard Hilario)
