Samsung Promises, Samsung Delivers
Jakarta, Indonesia -- Samsung in all its previous launches and events always tease consumers with promises to do more in the future. This year Samsung definitely fulfilled many of those promises by releasing new products, introducing additional upgrades, and adding new feature for previously released devices.
The Samsung Ultra High Definition (UHD) TV sets a new standard for the industry with it’s quality and features; the OLED TV with multiview capabilities where it could simultaneously show two different shows is a completely new innovation; the Evolution Kit that delivers 2013 Smart TV feature updates to older Smart TVs is the most affordable way to stay up-to-date with the latest in Technology. New home theater systems, new cameras, new printers and a lot more.
Here’s the complete lineup of Samsung’s 2013 products introduced in the Samsung South East Asia Forum 2013.
Samsung F8000 LED TV - The first Samsung television to feature a quad-core processor that would make it faster for consumers to switch between apps, online services and on-air TV.
Samsung 85S9 - the company’s first 85-inch Ultra High Definiotion TV (UHD TV). Features full HD resolution and could also up-convert HD to full HD and UHD resolution.
HT-F9750W - 7.1 channel home theater system, features 1,330-watt sound system, Samsung’s 4K scaler processor for upscaling HD content to UHD and Gallium Nitride amplifier and vacuum tube.
Samsung refrigerator RT38 – features easy slide shelf for faster storing and removal of food and a detachable multi storage basket for items like cosmetics and medicines. It also features MoistFresh Zone which controls air circulation to maintain optimal humidity to store and keep vegetables and fruit fresh for a long time. The Samsung refrigerator offers a 10-year warranty on its digital inverter compressor.
Samsung Wobble washing machine WA16 – Samsung’s Wobble technology prevents fabric damage caused by friction. It features fin shaped blades and built-in rollers around the drum to create a multi-directional washing flow. The machine also incorporates Samsung’s Digital Inverter Motor (DIM) that extends the washer’s lifetime because it is brushless and contains minimal moving parts. The DIM has 11-year warranty.
Samsung Smart Oven MC32F606 – features smart sensor technology, it identifies a food’s surface temperature – whether frozen, chilled or fresh – then it cooks any dish at the appropriate temperature, eliminating over or under cooked meals.
Samsung NaviBot CornerClean VR10F71 – A robot vacuum cleaner with smart and flexible movement that cleans a variety of surfaces from corner to corner. It activates a pop-out brush when it senses a corner for thorough cleaning. It also features an onboard camera that takes photos of the surrounding then creates a map and determines the most efficient path to clean all floor and carpet surfaces. If the battery runs low, the NaviBot returns automatically to the docking statiio to recharge.
NX300 – the first one-lens 3D system for a consumer camera, capable of capturing both still pictures and full 1080p HD video. Features 20.3 Megapixel sensor, hybrid autofocus system and DRIMe IV imaging engine, tilting AMOLED display with touchscreen capabilities and 5-way manual key interface.
Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi – younger sibling of the Galaxy camera released last year without a 3G/4G support. Features Android 4.1 OS, users are still able to use the dual-band wifi to download photo editing apps, share photos through social networking and upload videos and photos when connected to wifi.
Galaxy Note 8.0 – Sporting all the features of earlier Notes, the Note 8.0 also comes with the S Pen that makes it easy to be used as a digital scheduler and personal diary. Additional features include 8-inch WXGA screen with 1280x800 resolution and reading mode features that transforms the device into an e-Book reader. The Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with 16 or 32 GB of internal storage and an external micro SD slot.
Series 7 Chronos – thinner and lighter than the earlier model, the new series 7 Chronos a new software solution that provides up to 150% increase in speed of browsing and running apps. Features 10 finger multi-touch capability, full aluminum body, intel quad-core processor with up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage, full HD display, JBL optimized speakers and battery life of 11 hours.
Series 7 Ultra – First Ultra in the Series 7 family. Features aluminum body, full HD display, JBL optimized speakers, AMD graphics, 178-degree viewing angle, up to 8-hours battery life, intel i5 or i7 processor, up to 256GB SSD of storage, 10-finger multi-touch, 6-second boot up time, three USB ports and LAN port. The series 7 Ultra will also be available with 4G LTE.
Series 7 Touch SC770 – Samsung’s first multi-touch display optimized for Windows 8. Users can drag, rotate or select objects on the screen supporting up to 10 points of simultaneous multi touch. The stand is capable of a 60 degree tilt.
Series 7 SC750 – features an ergonomic design capable of 90-degree pivot. Features a cylinder shaped metal stand, the SC750 supports 3000:1 contrast ratio – which is three times that of a standard monitor.
Series 9 SB970 – This professionally pre-calibrated monitor are individually hand tuned by professional technicians before leaving the Samsung factory to ensure accuracy and precision. The monitor’s built-in color calibration engine enables users to adjust the uniformity, gamma and white balance of the display.
Xpress M2875 Series and ProXpress M4070 series printers – Backed by 600MHz Coretex A5 core processor and up to 128MB of memory, these new series of printers are capable of 28-40 page per minute printing output.
The world is indeed full of promises. It what makes up the trust and faith in a relationship; much like what Samsung and its consumers share.
