Peugeot Launches First Two Dealerships

After announcing its assignment as official Peugeot importer and distributor late last year, Eurobrands Distributor Inc. (EDI) made a promise to open at least 12 dealerships in 2013 – with at least one dealership opening to be conducted each month. That promise was delivered last week when Peugeot formally opened the first two dealerships in the country – Peugeot Las Piñas and Peugeot Cagayan de Oro.

The dealership in Las Pinas is located along Zapote Road, while that in Cagayan de Oro is at Mastersons Avenue.

Both dealerships aim to provide the full Peugeot ownership experience to their customers while ascribing fully to Peugeot international standards.

Peugeot’s CEO for Asian Operations, Gregoire Olivier, formally opened the dealerships. The EDI management team tasked to launch the showrooms, meanwhile, will be headed by EDI Chairman Johnny Hernandez.

With the twin opening ceremonies held last week, EDI goes full blast with its dealership development program – a necessary step after the public’s warm reception of the French automotive brand’s initial offerings. All four variants of Peugeot made available to the Philippine market – the 3008 crossover, the 5008 compact MPV, the 508 executive sedan, and the RCZ sports car – have garnered raves from the media practitioners who have driven them and have been received well by the public.

In the months to come, Peugeot dealerships in Quirnio Avenue in Manila, Cebu, Pasay, Batangas, Marikina, Cabanatuan, C-5 Pasig, Bacolod, North EDSA and Davao City are also set to open. EDI has also revealed that all of the said dealerships will be full service dealerships with full sales, service and after-sales facilities made available.
