Cavite plans housing for 130,000
Trece Martires City, Cavite — Housing units for some 20,000 families or up to 130,000 household members in five coastal municipalities and one city are projected to be built in a span of three years in this province, it was learned (Tuesday) September 17, 2013.
The concerned officials are now looking into the framework, including feasibility study, survey and plans for the units reportedly projected in Tanza, Naic, Ternate, Kawit and Noveleta towns and Cavite City.
The ambitious project is a priority of the provincial government along with education, livelihood, infrastructure, peace and order and other programs in the 2013-2016 term of Governor Jonvic Remulla.
The housing project and other programs were contained in the Executive-Legislative Agenda or ELA that was approved recently by the Sangguniang Panglalawigan (Provincial Board) under Vice Governor Ramon Jolo Revilla III during their 9th regular session last September 2.
