Kawasaki-Bajaj bikes launched in RP

Kawasaki Motor Philippines Corporation and Bajaj Auto Limited, one of the leading motorcycle manufacturers in India, have recently formed a partnership and introduced three ultra high Bajaj engine models, namely the Bajaj Wind 125, the Bajaj Caliber and Bajaj Byk 100.

The Wind 125 model has an elegant style with an advanced design, unique headlamp with optoprism, multi reflectors and halogen bulb.

This model strictly complied with the Philippine Clean Air Act. Its wheelbase of 1,260 mm gives maximum road stability and balance while the seat contours gives an appropriate saddle position for improved seating posture.

The Bajaj Wind 125 main features are the 125 cc, four strokes, single cylinder engine which is reliable and durable. It offers power, greater torque and excellent pick-up.

The two advanced technologies, Secondary Air Induction (SAI) and Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Systems, help reduce environmental pollution and hazards. The Five Plate clutch ensures optimum transfer of power to the gearbox and the five-speed transmission ensures a lower engine rpm at different cruising speed.

The frame and swinging arm is also made of high tensile steel. It is highly durable and readily compatible for existing Philippine terrain.

For great handling and smooth ride, the perfect cerani type front fork with 110 mm stroke is just the right one. The Coaxial adjustable rear shock absorbers and coil springs increase stroke length and give a smooth feel on all type of road conditions.

Other features include a tachometer, which indicates engine revolutions for economical driving.

For fresh look and elegant style, the Caliber 115 is the right one. Its main feature includes a single cylinder, keihin 20-mm throat carburetor that gives economical fuel consumption. It has a Digital twin map (DTM) CDI ignition system to ensure accurate timing for complete combustion of the air fuel mixture for optimum power. Throttle Responsive Ignition Control System (TRICS) alters the ignition for consistent power delivery and positive crankcase to reduce the environmental pollution.

The Byk 100 has an advanced design that will set the trend for future motorcycle models. It has a decent and simple steering cum ignition lock that enables convenient locking and unlocking of the steering.

An added feature for the Byk 100 is the utility box for keeping important things.
