The Computer Manufacturers Distributors and Dealers Association of the Philippines or COMDDAP, a premier organization of IT-related companies in the country, will be holding a major IT event in Baguio City on Feb. 26-28. Simply dubbed as COMDDAP Baguio 2004, the annual exhibit showcase and training festival will be held at the Ballroom of the Baguio Country Club. COMDDAP member-companies represent the world’s leading makers and providers of computer products, solutions and peripherals, locally.
Holding COMDDAP Baguio 2004 is in line with the association’s objectives to promote Information Technology and elevate its standards in the country. It will also provide an opportunity for an interactive exchange of ideas and discussion of matters affecting the industry and technology. This also effectively fosters and cultivates mutual cooperation and camaraderie among members of the IT community.
The three-day event expects to attract attendees and visitors not only from the Northern Luzon region but even from Metro Manila and other parts of the country as well. As in other COMDDAP Expos, some of which are also held in other key cities such as Cebu, Davao, Naga and Iloilo. COMD-DAP Baguio will feature products and services offered by participating companies presented in a very creative and interesting manner in booth exhibits.
Aside from the exhibits, learning or training sessions will also be available from 8:30 a.m. up to 9 p.m. Enrollment and admission is free. Several groups of IT business people, practitioners, enthusiasts and most specially students are expected to come and grace the expo.
