Jaguar XJ6 gets awards

Jaguar has just collected two awards, most recently winning the Luxury Car category with the Jaguar XJ6 at the prestigious ‘What Car? Car of the Year Awards.’

Rob Aherne, editor of What Car? Magazine, said: "The new Jaguar XJ6 is our pick of the luxury car class. Visually, it’s unmistakably a Jaguar, with an interior that is a brilliant contemporary take on a classic design. Under the skin however, it’s all change with an ultramodern aluminum structure that brings a host of benefits including excellent performance, fuel economy and emissions from the 3.0-liter V6 engine."

Earlier, the Jaguar X-Type collected its first award of 2004, winning a Gold prize at the Fleet Excellence Awards. The X-Type took top honors in the New Diesel Car of the Year category, voted for by the readers of Fleet Week and Fleet Management magazines. The all-new Jaguar XJ also received a Highly Commended award in the Luxury Car category.

The new XJ series was successfully launched in the Philippines last November by Jaguar Cars, Inc., exclusive distributors of Jaguar cars in the country.
