Binay predicts FPJ will win

Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay has expressed confidence that Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino presidential candidate Fernando Poe Jr. will win in the May 10 elections.

Binay, who is campaign manager of the actor-politician in Luzon and National Capital Region (NCR), said that based on the SWS election survey, FPJ has garnered the support of almost 56% or 5.8 million voters in the North.

"FPJ is sure to win in Luzon. Wala pang presidente na hindi nanalo sa Luzon," Binay said.

The Makati mayor assured that with Poe, people can "expect to have a change of government in his term" should he win the presidency.

"We can’t afford to have President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo for another six years," Binay added.

Binay also said that while Arroyo has the 26 percent of voters in the Visayas it does not entirely mean that she has reaped massive support citing that the number of registered voters in Visayas is comparatively small than the number of voters registered in Luzon.
