A timely honor for this year’s "Woman’s Month" was a recent good news emanating from Tarlac City, that reported two women cancer survivors Maria Paz Mariano, and Althea Cadiz, who were slated for emergency medical treatment and operation.
Mariano, the 38-year old housewife from Quezon City, was suffering from breast cancer (with her tumor reported as large as a baseball), and Cadiz, the 38-year-old woman from Taguig, Metro Manila (whose tumor in the cervical area was 8-cm big) were certified by medical experts as ‘healed’ from their respective cancer cases.
The said ‘cures’ were attributed to a renowned Filipino herbal scientist-investor named Antonio R. Agustin, who became sensational during last year’s Asian SARS epidemic, due to his now famous ‘Boston-C’ invention that elicited recognition from the Bureau of Food & Drugs Administration (BFAD) authorities, following his support to Department of Health (DOH) efforts in combating new deadly diseases of this 21st century.
It was also supported that some leading medical centers and hospitals in Metro Manila, including the University of the Philippines (UP) Institute of Biology, have noted the efficacy of ‘Boston-C’ in severe cases of several types of cancer cells.
It has also been seen as an effective measure against stroke, emphysema, asthma, diabetes, thyroid disorders, ulcer, kidney stones, uric acid, and bad cholesterol among the young and the elderly.
