If all numbers are busy or out of reach, then an instant text message will be sent to the parent, stating "I cannot reach you. Please call me now. Your SMART Kid." The family call list can be programmed with five (5) phone numbers from any SMART celfone or landline.  Its sequence or the destination of the unreachable text message can be changed at any time.  The SMART Kid SIM can only call these pre-defined numbers so no one else can use the child's phone to make other calls. 

For added security, you also have the option to register your child's SMART Kid celfone number to the SMART Kid Finder.  This feature allows you to know where your child is at all times, wherever they may be.
