Entrepreneur Edward L. Fereira, President and CEO of Ferycor International Management Group, Inc., and 2003 Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) President was recently elected President of the newly reorganized Association of the Philippine Entrepreneurs Corporation (APEC), known formerly as the Foundation for Filipino Entrepreneurship, Inc. (FFEI) starting June 2004. Jollibee Foods Corp. President and CEO, Tony Tan Caktiong, who was named World Entrepreneur of the Year in Monte Carlo, Monaco was the inducting officer and the honorary chairman of APEC.

Virginia Bautista and VOB Corp., Corporate Secretary Joseph Albert Gamboa of Export and Industry Bank and Directors Melesa Chua of Quadrillion Group, Teodoro Estacio of Metro Index Realty and Development Corp., Antonio Lopez, Lydia Orial of LGU Guarantee Corp., Rosalinda Pasco of House of Orion, Erdulfo Sison of Business Assistance and Credit Corp., Cynthia Subijano of ALS Insurance Services, Inc., Oscar Torralba of Town Holdings Corporation, Abelardo Villacorta of Syndenham Laboratories Inc., and Arsenio Vistro of DTTI Consultancy Phils. Inc.
Fereira holds an MBA degree from the University of California – Los Angeles, an MS in Marketing Management Development from Syracuse University – New York, and a BS Microbiology from the University of the Philippines. He was the first Filipino and First Asian to serve as president of the Syracuse University Graduate School of Sales Management and Marketing.
