Charming looks, bubbly sense of humor, endearing singing voice and a great talent in musicality, these are words that best describe _ Simon Woods.
A free spirited 18-year-old unconventional lad, which will introduce a new face in the local music scene, and prove to the international market that Pinoys also have what it takes to conquer the record industry.
Simon Woods is the son of all-time Jukebox King Victor Wood, and the latest discovery of the dynamic tandem of London- based producer Frederic Herrera and innovative musical arranger Eric Narvaez.
This is the third collaboration of these music geniuses since their projects for Candid Records International. The first was "Enrique Marcos," the young yet classy and elegant songster, followed by an exciting dance album, both soon to be out in the local and international market.
Simon began singing when he was just three years old. His dad used to perform regularly in a resto-bar then, and in the middle of dad’s performance, little Simon would go on stage, grab a music and hum cute nothings as if he is a mini-me of his father.
That innocent and humble beginning turned into passion, and as little Simon grew up, he had developed his craft and further enhanced his natural gift of music.
To add a little more to the already outstanding skills he has, he enrolled in a prominent school and took up conservatory of music. There he learned to play different instruments and specialized in playing the piano.
Today Simon is ready to face the competition and challenges that is yet to come and to share to us his gift of music.
At present, this braided hair young guy, is finishing a 12-track album soon to be released locally and internationally. Wait till he captures and melt your hearts.
