Suzuki opens Davao office

Motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki recently inaugurated its new sales office at L.A. Building, Lapu-lapu Street, Agdao, Davao City.

The Agdao office will be a model for its new brand of 3s shops, which offer sales, service and spare parts to Suzuki customers. More Suzuki 3s shops are now being planned nationwide.

On display at the newly inaugurated office are Suzuki’s line-up of solo and business models. These include the Suzuki Raider 150, Shogun R 125, Smash 110 and GS 125.

The open day festivities started with a citywide motorcade featuring the Suzuki Cool Riders Club of Davao, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to formally open the new office, led by Suzuki Philippines, Inc. president Kiyoshi Kawahara.

Also present during the event was marketing representative from Suzuki Motors Corporation, Japan, Yuichiro Murakami.

The branch manager of the new office is Joel Martin.

In the evening, Suzuki threw a festive victory party for the successful, month-long 2004 Suzuki Nationwide Endurance Run, a nonstop three-week event that kicked off in Manila and covered Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The 2004 Suzuki Nationwide Endurance Run aimed to promote motorcycling as a new lifestyle; to encourage the use of two wheels to help decongest the roads; and to promote safe and responsible riding.
