The Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) has started the hearing on the election recount filed by presidential candidate Fernando Poe, Jr. (FPJ). He accused President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of "massive and widespread electoral fraud", but Malacañang has welcomed the protest and said she is prepared to meet the challenge.
