As a way of thanking thousands of Filipinos working in Hong Kong, PLDT (HK) Ltd. will host its own Fiesta event on August 22 at Chater Garden for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), with popular comedienne Ai-Ai De Las Alas and Sexy Star Rica Peralejo leading the festivities.
Aptly titled “Pinoy Fiesta,” the whole event will start with a Mass to be officiated by the well-loved Msgr. Tom Gonzalez. Followed by grand presentations of different Filipino Cultural Dances with performances by leading OFW organizations in Hong Kong. The day-long festivities will be highlighted by a variety show topbilled by Ms. De Las Alas and Ms. Peralejo together with the hilarious Tita Glow and Teen Hearthrob Justin Cuyugan.
“Pinoy Fiesta is just a primer to the bigger things we’ve linedup for our Kaibigang Pinoys in Hong Kong. This is our way of showing our gratitude to Filipinos, who have patronized PLDT ever since we offered our prepaid cards and postpaid access services for international long distance in Hong Kong in 2001,” said newly appointed PLDT (HK) Ltd. General Manager, Rey Yu.
