Nyoy and Mannos reprise Beatles show

In the recent Awards race, Nyoy Volante won as Best Male Performer in Hotels, Bars and Restaurants on the strength of his series of successful concert performances, including “NV&M Salutes the Beatles” at the Republic of Malate.

On Oct. 20 and due to the insistence of people who were not able to watch the concert the first time it was staged –Notamannos Productions brings back the hit show featuring the music of John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. Audiences will once again be able to thrill to classic Beatles tunes like “Here Comes The Sun,” “Hey Jude,” “Drive My Car,” “Blackbird,” “With A Little Help From My Friends,” and “Yesterday,” but performed, for the first time, using an acoustic guitar, piano, violin, k–hon and bongos.

Joining Nyoy will be the members of Mannos: Cocoy Aranas (guitar), Glenn Dalit (k-hon), Jerome Nuñez (violin) and Maynard Albis ((bongos). NV& M Salutes the Beatles at the Music Museum is presented by Globe Telecoms, with concept and direction by Ernie Duque.

The return engagement even has a social dimension: part of the proceeds from tickets sales will go to the benefit of the deppressed children of Guimaras Island.

Don’t be the only person who hasn’t yet watched this one–of–a–kind concert series.

(“NV &M Salute The Beatles” will also be staged on Oct. 15 at Baga Berde Grill & Bar in Pasig City).
