AFTER the Atlanta Center disallowed the reenactment to be staged in the building, led by DoJ Secretary Gonzales and NBI Director Wycoco, which was to be directed by witness Andrada Dalandas showing how Nida Blanca’s murder was done until when the reenactment was permitted, there had been plenty of time to seek court’s ocular inspection to perpetuate evidence on the event, and notify respondents’ counsel, or a US Embassy representative, if called for. In short, the reenactment should be in court. Not to be unfair before the media for publicity.

The top military and intelligence officials did the right thing by advising "Rosebud" Ong to stop accusing First Gentleman Arroyo of blocking her agent’s fees release. There must be a political agenda behind her to demand Mike Arroyo for payment from police funds under the President’s Office. Her claim should be directed at the PNP unit that hired her. There’s no need to inconvenience Mike Arroyo. A legal action is proper against the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force. Unless she is doing it for some politicians.

The 16 persons, arrested by the police security forces assembling bombs intended for suicide attacks during the Black Nazarene procession today, are suspected in pursuit of the al-Qaeda linked Jemaah Islamiyah terror group plot. Police claim the suspects were former Christians converted to Islam. Not unusual, if only one or some of them apostatized. But here, not only all of 16 became Muslims, they had even intended to kill a million Christians on a Christian feast day. Many Filipino celebrities have converted too. How come?

It was laudable of Sen. Francis Pangilinan to take the initiative of urging the Deptartment of Foreign Affairs to verify the reported arms deal between MILF and North Korea. NK sold 10,000 rifles, hand grenades, assorted heavy weapons, and their spare parts, all costing $2.2 million. What DFA could verify or what Congress’ inquiry finds about the deal may not improve our national security unless Coast Guards bar unauthorized..0 arms entry, and banks freeze all laundered money. Now, Sen. Kiko may well find where MILF got the $2.2 million from.
