The town of San Ildefonso in Bulacan which sits at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains will celebrate its fiesta from Jan. 14 to 23. St. Ildephonsus (San Ildefonso) who was known to have defended the perpetual virginity of the Blessed Virgin Mary marks his feastday on Jan. 23. The Miraculous image has been enthroned at the San Ildefonso Parish for the past 120 years. This year’s caretaker of the fiesta, Dr. Gil Villacorte, had the altar restored in old woo and gold leaf in Gothic design.

The University of Santo Tomas High School alumni headed by Moldex chairman Jack Uy will hold their grand reunion at the Manila Hotel Fiesta Pavilion on Feb. 26 (Saturday) to be spearheaded by jubilarians led by Batches of 1955 (golden) and 1950 (silver). Other jubilarians actively participating in the preparations of the affair are members of classes 1960, ‘65, ‘70, ‘75 and ‘80.
