10 outstanding students of Makati

   

The proclamation of the Ten Outstanding Students of Makati (TOSM) will be held today Friday, March 4, 5 p.m., at the Francisco Santiago Hall, Equitable PCIBank Tower I Bldg.

Mayor Jejomar C. Binay will deliver the keynote speech to encourage the youth of Makati to be active participants in community affairs and to continue their studies.

This year’s winners are Francis Vincent R. Co, Makati Science High School; Kristine Ann del Rosario, Colegio San Agustin; Nathanael James A. Gabat, Makati High School; Martha Charmaine T. Iñigo, Assumption College; Rosheer Karla G. Lim, Makati Hope Christian School; Mark Hiro Nakagawa, San Antonio National High School; Orlando F. Pelejo Jr., Don Bosco Technical Institute; Maria Kris B. Santos, Colegio de Santa Rosa-Makati; Kristine Joyce C. Reynaldo, San Isidro National High School and Robin A. Salvador, Benigno S. Aquino High School.

The Jaycees Leadership Awardees are Michael John B. Nalica of Fort Bonifacio High School and Charmaine Nadine A. Quisel of Guadalupe Catholic School.

Winners shall be awarded tropies and Paglingkuran Ang Bayan medallions. They will also receive gifts from Bookmark, National Bookstore, Tokyo, Tokyo, Colgate Palmolive Philippines, Nestle Philippines and Dunkin Donuts.

Chichi Fajardo Robles, TOSM winner 1977 will once again be this year’s Master of Ceremonies.

Past TOSM winners are Ferdinand Picar, baron of PMA Class 88; Julio Benedicto, the first Filipino to graduate summa cum laude at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut; Sid Gomez Hildawa, a recipient of the Gawad of CCP, and Dr. Ricardo Dimayuga, noted surgeon at the Philippine General Hospital.
