It is also the birth of Juan Carlo, their son from which the catering outfit was named.
Alex, who came from a family of caterers in Cavite had always dreamt of becoming a caterer. He was not lured by the riyals of Saudi Arabia and the prominence of his position as the chief quantity surveyor of Al –Khodair, to stay as an engineer forever. Tita, on the other hand a Medical Technologist by profession, gave up her ambition of putting up a laboratory of her own and just embraced the catering business, making their kitchen the recipient of her laboratory expertise.
It was November 11, 1995 when they had their first catering project. Since then, Juan Carlo The Caterer gained phenomenal success, conquering the whole of Batangas, even crossing borders to Cavite, Tagaytay, Laguna, Rizal Quezon, Bulacan amd Metro Manila. He was also able to lure the sophisticated and discerning taste of the celebrities. Juan Carlo takes pride in being the official Caterer of Ogie Alcasid and Michelle Van Eimeren, Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado, Catherine de Castro and Eric Cruz weddings, Cherie Gil, Beth Tamayo and even the mega star herself, Sharon Cuneta.
Through the years, Juan Carlo proved to be an authority when it comes to weddings. Juan Carlo the Caterer already has a throng of satisfied and happy brides and grooms who can attest to their expertise.
