Senators are demanding an inquiry into the aborted jailbreak by suspected Abu Sayyaf terrorists detained at Camp Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig. They said the incident is a "sad reflection of the serious threats in the country’s peace and order situation". They added that the laxity in the handling of prisoners, especially those charged with heinous offenses, has been going on for so long.
