MP3 phone from TCL & Alcatel

   

TCL & Alcatel Mobile Phones presented a range of 12 new Alcatel mobile phones equipped with the latest major new mobile telephony technology. This new entity, a joint venture between TCL and Alcatel, aims to become a major player in the worldwide mobile telephone market.

The OT-S853 is a music player delivering a 2.1 stereo surround soun. It is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera other features include audio and video streaming through EDGE, Bluetooth, an FM radio and a mini SD card.

The OT-C651 is a “clamshell” model with interchangeable cases. It offers a number of features including video mode, VGA camera, MMS, 40-tones polyphonic melodies and “Talk & Shoot” ─ that lets users talk while taking a photo or video and sending it by MMS.

The OT-C555 is aimed mainly at music enthusiasts who expect the best when it comes to sound. The dual loudspeakers provide a high quality 3D stereo effect for MP3, AAC and 64-tones polyphonic melodies.

The OT-C656 can play music in 3D stereo surround, MP3 and 64-tones polyphonic melodies. The << music & lights >> function marries the retro lit screen, the keyboard and the vibrator, to the rhythm of the melody! It comes with a video pre-programmed for various types of footage (auto portrait, nightscapes…).

With this new range of, TCL and Alcatel Mobile Phones have doubled the product portfolio available when the company was created in August 2004. The number of available models is due to double again before the end of the year.
