At least 20 major vehicle brands will showcase their latest automobiles in the 1st Manila Motor Show to be held on April 28 to 30 at the World Trade Center in Roxas Blvd., Manila.
Open to the public from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight, the show will be held at the World Trade Center exhibition halls. The display of the latest of models of automobiles from major car makers will include Audi, BMW Automobiles, BMW Motorrad, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Hummer, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mercedez-Benz, Nissan (Universal Motors Corporation), Peugeot, Porsche, Ssang Yong, Toyota and Volvo.
CATS Motors — the local distributor of Chrysler, Dodge and Mercedez-Benz — will be bringing in their new Chrysler 300 Touring and new Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle. Ford will be parading the award-winning 1931 Model A and another future model.
Ford’s sister company, Mazda Philippines will be taking the wraps off its RX-8 sports car while Peugeot will re-launch the 307SW and the 807.
Kia and Hyundai will go practical with the new common rail diesel-powered variants of their Sorento SUV and Matrix MPV, respectively. Hyundai will also showcase three new models during the show.
On the other hand, Volvo will be bringing its high performance S60R for the local car enthusiasts. Another major attraction will be the Toyota’s TF103 Formula One car.
The Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI) will also showcase the 10 category winners in the recently-concluded Car of the Year Awards with the Honda Accord 3.0-liter V6 as the overall winner.
