Panasonic launches new phones

   

It seems that being slim, snug and trim doesn’t just go for bodies any longer. This May, when Panasonic Mobile Communications Co. Ltd, launches the super slim and trim models X800 and A210, a streamlined stat has also become the hottest aspect in mobile communication.

At just 17.2 mm thin and 99 g, the X800 certainly fits the slim-and-trim bill to a T. Its smooth, sleek design easily fits the pocket, making it the most ideal handset for people who value convenience and handiness. Its lightweight body also travels well so that the handset can be used anytime, anywhere without fuss. The model pushes expediency to the limit with its One-Push Auto Open — a special feature that lets the handset pops open with just a touch of a button. With this unique function, the working urbanite need not miss that important call or fumble awkwardly when answering incoming calls.

Powered by Symbian Operating System, the X800 also has a VGA CMOS camera that is video capable and allows up to four times digital zooming. Aside from multimedia messaging service, short message service and Internet mailing, the X800 is also infrared- and bluetooth-equipped. It also comes outfitted with 40 polyphonic ring tones, 20 preset ring tones, 10 preset wallpapers, and two exciting built-in games employing the Java MIDP 2.0 technology.

Meanwhile, the A210, puts the fun back in mobile communication with its fashionable and totally innovative Messaging Illumination feature. This feature makes text messaging more engaging with the use of light effects to convey the emotion of the message. When a message is received, the indicator flashes colors and patterns that correspond to the emoticons in the message – giving the receiver the ability to know the mood of the message even before opening it.

The image-conscious teen will find endless delight in the A210 because the handset model comes complete with 40 easy-to-input pictographic characters guaranteed to make text messaging more creative and exciting. Users can choose from 10 pre-installed 16-polyphonic ring tones that suit every mood and preference, and provide a selection of melodies that make pleasant incoming call signals.

At 16.5 mm thin and just a mere 71 g in weight, the A210 is a sleek and slender mobile phone alright, but it is equipped with a powerful 65k CSTN Colour LCD with a 128 x 128 pixel colored screen that make for clear and crisp images. As a versatile communication tool, the A210 supports the WAP 2.0 Browser, and ems and sms functions.
